World Population Day 2025: Essay Writing Competition
In observance of World Population Day 2025, the NSS units I and II of J.K.K. Nataraja College of Arts and Science (Autonomous) organized an essay writing competition on 11/07/2025 from 11.a.m. to 12 p.m. at our college library to create awareness about the pressing issues related to global population growth.
Event Highlights
- Topic: “Raise in Global Population and Its Related Issues”
- Participation: Around 40 students actively participated in the competition
- Objective: To raise awareness about the challenges and consequences of rapid population growth and to encourage students to think critically about potential solutions

Through this essay writing competition, our college aims to educate students about the significance of population control and its far-reaching implications.
