Department of Physics

The Department was established in 1975 and has been offering Physics as an Allied Course for B.Sc. Mathematics and Chemistry. Over the years, the faculty member of the department has made significant contributions in research and academia. She has successfully supervised the research work of 6 M.Phil. Scholars, guiding them in their pursuit of knowledge and expertise in their respective fields.

In addition to her research accomplishments, the faculty member has also published 3 papers in International Journals. These publications demonstrate her commitment to advancing scientific knowledge and sharing her findings with the global academic community. By disseminating her research through reputable journals, she contributes to the body of scientific literature and promotes the exchange of ideas among peers.

Recognized for her expertise and dedication to education, the faculty member holds key positions outside the department as well. She serves as a Member in the Board of Studies at Periyar University and Selvam Arts and Science College, Namakkal.
