The TNPSC Inaugural and Orientation Program was held on 14th July 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Senthuraja Hall, marking the commencement of the Value Added Course on TNPSC preparation for the academic year.

The objective of the event was to guide students on how to approach the TNPSC and other state-level competitive examinations, while also creating awareness about the structure, strategies, and career opportunities in the government sector. The session began with a soulful prayer song rendered by the students, setting a respectful and enthusiastic tone for the proceedings. Mr. K. Dinesh, Assistant Professor of Physics, delivered the welcome address, stressing the importance of competitive exams in shaping students’ futures and the relevance of this value-added course in laying a solid foundation for their preparation journey.

This was followed by a felicitation address by Dr. M. Poongulale, Vice Principal, who emphasized the significance of focused exam training and urged students to take full advantage of institutional support. The core of the orientation was led by Mr. S. Ravishankar, who explained the TNPSC exam pattern in detail, including its three phases: Preliminary, Mains, and Interview. He highlighted key subjects such as general studies, aptitude, polity, and current affairs, and shared tips on effective preparation, consistency, and use of digital resources.

The session was highly interactive, with students actively engaging in discussions and seeking clarity on paper patterns and preparation timelines. Mr. V. Yasodharan, Assistant Professor of Physics, proposed the vote of thanks, appreciating the efforts of the chief guest, management, faculty, volunteers, and students. The event concluded with the National Anthem, leaving the participants motivated and well-informed about the TNPSC journey ahead.
