Plastic Awareness Rally
On September 27, 2025, at 11 a.m., J.K.K. Nataraja College of Arts and Science, Komarapalayam, jointly organized a Plastic Awareness Rally with the Pollution Control Department of Komarapalayam. The rally was held from Komarapalayam Municipal Office to Komarapalayam Bus Stand, with 100 NSS volunteers and programme officers.
Key Highlights:
- Rally Inauguration: The program commenced with the hoisting of the green flag by Namakkal District Collector, marking the beginning of the rally.
- Competition Winners: Our students showcased their talents and secured prizes in various competitions, including:
– Drawing Competition
– Singing Competition
– Drama Competition
- Appreciation: NSS programme officers received an appreciation shield from the District Collector, acknowledging their efforts in promoting environmental awareness.
The event demonstrated the college’s commitment to environmental sustainability and community engagement, aligning with the National Service Scheme’s (NSS) motto of “Not Me, But You”. By working together, we can create a more sustainable future and mitigate the impacts of plastic pollution.
