NSS Day Celebration
J.K.K. Nataraja College of Arts and Science, Komarapalayam, marked National Service Scheme (NSS) Day on September 24, 2025, with a series of activities promoting community service and social awareness.
Activities:
- Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue Quiz: A mega drive was organized, engaging NSS programme officers and faculty members in a quiz that fostered dialogue on national development.
- Drawing Competition: Students participated in a drawing competition themed “மீண்டும் மஞ்சப்பை! வேண்டாம் பிளாஸ்டிக் பை!!” or “Back to Cloth Bags! No to Plastic Bags!!”, promoting eco-friendly practices and raising awareness about plastic bag usage.
Objective:
The event aimed to instill a sense of social responsibility, volunteerism, and community development among students, while highlighting the importance of sustainable practices.
Outcome:
The celebration provided a platform for students to express their creativity, develop their skills, and contribute to the betterment of society.
By participating in such initiatives, students embody the NSS motto of “Not Me But You,” demonstrating their commitment to community service and social awareness.
