The Department of Microbiology of JKKN College of Arts & Science (Autonomous) organized the Microbiology Association Inaugural Function titled BIOTRAKZ 21’25 on 7th October 2025 at Senthuraja Hall. The event commenced at 10:00 a.m. with a prayer song followed by a warm welcome address.
The Chief Guest, Dr. P.V. Pradeep Kumar, Ph.D., Managing Director of Guru Enviro Tech, inaugurated the association and delivered an inspiring address on the importance of environmental biotechnology and microbial research in sustainable development.
The function was presided over by the Head of the Department, who emphasized the relevance of microbiology in today’s scientific and industrial sectors.
The session also highlighted the Sustainable Development Goals related to quality education and gender equality. Students actively participated in the event and gained valuable insights into the emerging trends and career opportunities in microbiology.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks, marking a successful and inspiring start to the academic year’s departmental activities
