The Inter-Institutional Idea Challenge – Economic development and Entrepreneurship organized by INSTITUTIONS INNOVATION COUNCIL in JKKN College of Arts and Science on 12th December 2024 was a remarkable event centered around the theme of Economic Development & Entrepreneurship. The event kicked off with a warm welcome address by L. Naresh Kumar (II B.Com CA), setting a positive tone for the day. The highlight of the event was the keynote speech by Dr. R. Sivakumar, MS (NUS), Ph.D., whose insightful talk on innovation and entrepreneurship inspired all participants to think critically and creatively about solving real-world problems. The event featured 8 dynamic teams who presented their innovative ideas through engaging PPT presentations, offering solutions to pressing challenges in economic development. Dr. Sivakumar provided valuable evaluation and feedback, helping participants refine their ideas and enhance their approach. The event was skillfully anchored by M. Jayashree (III BA English), ensuring a smooth flow of activities, while R. Kowshk (I B.Sc CS) delivered the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all attendees and contributors. The event concluded with the presentation of a memento to Dr. Sivakumar by the Vice Principal, in recognition of his valuable contributions. This event not only nurtured an entrepreneurial mindset among participants but also provided a platform for collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and mentorship, leaving a lasting impact on all involved.
