Bridge Course Event For All The First Year

In our J.K.K.Nataraja College of Arts & Science, Computer Science Department organised the Bridge course event for all the first year students belonging to the same department from 18-07-2023 to 20-07-2023 at Senthurraja Hall in our college campus.
The function started with a Prayer song by our First year students Miss. N. Girja, M. Lalitha, S. Mehanthana, M. Sharmila and C. Hema.
Mr.B.N. Dhanasekaran, Head of the Department, Department of Computer Science, gave the welcome address to the gathering. He also urges the students as they progress to higher levels of education, ensuring they have the foundational knowledge and skills needed for their future studies.
Dr.V.R. Parameswari, Dean, J.K.K.Nataraja College of Arts & Science, rendered the special address to the first year students. She insisted that the bridge course will serve as a platform to reinforce fundamental concepts and provide a deeper understanding of subjects that are essential for the upcoming academic journey. Through interactive sessions, hands-on activities, and personalised guidance, our students will have the opportunity to strengthen their academic prowess and build the confidence needed to excel in their chosen fields.
In this program computer science department faculties took many topics like Recent Trends, Number System & Microprocessor, Programming Languages, HTML, Database Management Systems, Python Programming, Data Structures & Algorithms, Activity work and Talent Shows.
More than 200 students actively participated in the Bridge Course session. Finally Mrs. N. Umadevi, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science, rendered the vote of thanks. The function came to an end with the National Anthem.
