PULSE 2K26, the New Year Cultural Celebration, was successfully organized by JKKN College of Arts & Science (Autonomous) on 31st December 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Vibrant Arangam. The event marked the joyful welcome of the New Year 2026 and created an energetic and festive atmosphere on campus. Students enthusiastically participated in various cultural performances, showcasing their talents in dance, music, and other art forms. The programme promoted creativity, unity, and cultural harmony while enhancing students’ confidence, teamwork, and stage presence. The well-coordinated efforts of the organizers, faculty members, and participants made PULSE 2K26 a memorable and successful celebration.

JKKN College of Arts & Science (Autonomous) successfully organized “Knowledge Meets Industry – MoU Day” on 24.12.2025 at Vibrant Arangam with the objective of strengthening industry–academia collaboration. The programme brought together eminent industry experts including Mr. S. Alaudeen Basha, Director, ALBN Securities Private Limited, Chennai; Dr. K. V. Pradeepkumar, Managing Director, Guru Enviro Tech, Erode; Mr. Kumaresan Thangavel, Founder & Director, Bluestone Group of Institutions, Coimbatore; and Er. R. Elavarasan, Managing Director, Pranav Solutions, Krishnagiri. The session emphasized the importance of skill development, industry exposure, internships, training opportunities, and employability-oriented learning. The signing of Memoranda of Understanding marked a significant step towards collaborative initiatives such as guest lectures, industrial visits, student projects, internships, and joint research activities. The event provided valuable insights into current industry expectations and future career opportunities, making it a meaningful and impactful platform for students and faculty alike.

The Department of Physics and Microbiology, JKKN College of Arts & Science (Autonomous), organized an Industrial Visit to SPAC Starch India, Ammappettai, on 10 December 2025 to provide practical industrial exposure to students. The visit enabled learners to gain firsthand knowledge of starch manufacturing processes, quality control mechanisms, laboratory testing procedures, and safety protocols followed in a large-scale industrial setup. Students from Physics and Microbiology observed the application of scientific principles in process control, instrumentation, microbial quality analysis, and waste management systems. Interaction with industry experts enhanced students’ understanding of industrial operations, technological applications, and career opportunities in manufacturing and allied sectors. The industrial visit effectively bridged the gap between theoretical concepts and real-world industrial practices, making it an informative and enriching learning experience.

The Eco-Club of the Department of Zoology and Youth Red Cross (YRC) successfully organized “World Ozone Day” an environmental awareness programme in commemoration of the signing of the Montreal Protocol on Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer in 1987. The event aimed to educate students on ozone layer depletion, climate change, and their interconnected impacts on the environment. Student participation was a core component of the programme. Reels & PPT presentation competitions were conducted as student engagement activities. Students expressed their creative skills in the form of reels and ppt presentation. The Department of Visual Communication of JKKN College of Arts & Science (Autonomous) successfully inaugurated its association event “PIXEL PULSE 2025” on 26th August 2025 at Senthuraja Hall. The program marked a vibrant beginning to the academic year’s activities with enthusiastic participation from students, faculty members, and special invitees. The event was graced by the Chief Guest, Mr. R.D. Aikilan, B.Sc., Assistant Cinematographer in the Tamil Film Industry, who shared his professional journey, experiences in cinematography, and valuable insights about the growing opportunities in the field of visual media. His motivational address inspired the students to explore their creativity, stay updated with emerging technologies, and pursue excellence in the visual communication industry. The inaugural function featured engaging sessions, interactive discussions, and presentations that highlighted the significance of creativity, storytelling, and technical skills in shaping future media professionals. Students actively participated and expressed their eagerness to contribute to upcoming association activities and creative projects The event enhanced awareness of career opportunities in cinematography and visual media, encouraged creativity and innovation, strengthened industry–academia linkage through the presence of an eminent professional, and marked the official launch of the Visual Communication Association activities for the academic year 2025–26. The program concluded with a vote of thanks, acknowledging the chief guest, management, faculty members, and students for their valuable support and contribution to the success of PIXEL PULSE 2025, which set a strong foundation for future association initiatives.

World Population Day 2025: Essay Writing Competition In observance of World Population Day 2025, the NSS units I and II of J.K.K. Nataraja College of Arts and Science (Autonomous) organized an essay writing competition on 11/07/2025 from 11.a.m. to 12 p.m. at our college library to create awareness about the pressing issues related to global population growth. Event Highlights Topic: “Raise in Global Population and Its Related Issues” Participation: Around 40 students actively participated in the competition Objective: To raise awareness about the challenges and consequences of rapid population growth and to encourage students to think critically about potential solutions. World Population Day World Population Day is observed annually on July 11th to highlight the issues related to global population growth and its impact on the environment, economy, and society. The day aims to raise awareness about the importance of population stabilization and sustainable development. Our Initiative Through this essay writing competition, our college aims to educate students about the significance of population control and its far-reaching implications. We believe that by empowering young minds with knowledge and critical thinking skills, we can work towards creating a more sustainable future.

JKK Nattraja Institutions celebrated its Placement Day 2025 on April 25 at Vibrant Arangam, organized by the Career Development Center. The event honored the placement achievements of students and fostered connections with industry professionals and alumni. Distinguished guests, including alumni such as Dr. Prakash Palanivelu (MSR Tooth Clinic Pvt. Ltd., 1996) and Dr. Jaganathan KS (Serum Institute of India Pvt. Ltd., 1998), shared insights on career development and industry expectations. The Career Development Center presented a report highlighting successful placements across various departments, with over 139 students securing positions in reputed companies like Foxconn, Premier Fine Linens, Sakthi Auto Components, Rinex Technologies, and Pronoia EduTech. The B.Sc (Computer Science) department led with 59 placements, followed by B.Com (CA) with 36. Students received their offer letters during the event, which also featured interactive sessions fostering mentorship opportunities. The celebration underscored the institution’s commitment to career excellence, alumni engagement, and industry collaboration, enhancing its reputation in academic and professional circles.

Under the guidance of our Event Manager, Manimekalai. P (Department of Commerce), this event gives us a delightful experience. We Enjoyed this exciting event, with live performances, delicious treats, fun activities, and surprise gifts. Let’s kick off the New Year with positivity, laughter, and togetherness. Its a moment to cherish and celebrate!

YUVA Club of J. K.K. Nataraja College of Arts & Science, Komarapalayam organised a programme Mathematics: Bridging Concepts, Inspiring Minds with regard to National Mathematics Day on 21 st December, 2023 at 11.00 a.m. The event commenced in the presence of Dr. K. P. Sivagami, Principal-in-charge, J. K.K. Nataraja College of Arts & Science, Komarapalayam. Ms. S. Swetha, II B.Sc Computer Science, extended warm welcome to all the participants. Mrs. R. Poongodi., Assistant Professor and Head, Department of Mathematics, J. K.K. Nataraja College of Arts & Science, Komarapalayam, is the resource person who led the programme. She said that the day is celebrated to promote the importance of mathematics in various fields and to recognize Ramanujan’s significant contributions to the field of mathematics. The event also served as a reminder of the relevance of mathematics in our daily lives, encouraging students and professionals to explore the subject and contribute to its continuous growth. Following her talk Puzzle competition was conducted. Students from mathematics, English, Physics and Zoology participated in it. Ms. M. Kamali, II M.Sc Maths and Miss. K. Janani, II M.Sc Maths was declared as winners. Puzzle competition within the context of National Mathematics Day served as a dynamic platform to instill valuable skill, enhance their ability to analyze problems, identify patterns and apply logical reasoning to find solutions, promote mathematical thinking and celebrate the spirit of mathematics. Ms. M. Mounika, II B.Sc Computer Science extended heartfelt gratitude to student participants and the staff members. Students shared their feedback. The program came to an end with National Anthem.
