J.K.K. Nataraja Arts and Science College – Autonomous, organized the first-ever Kumarapalayam Bypass Marathon on Sunday, 6th April 2025, at the J.K.K.N. School Ground, Kumarapalayam, to commemorate its 50th Golden Jubilee year.
The event aimed to spread awareness about water conservation and the importance of maintaining good health. The marathon began at 5:00 AM and witnessed an overwhelming response, with over 2,400 participants, including men, women, and children, taking part in the run.
Popular actor Srikanth graced the occasion as the chief guest and officially inaugurated the event. Cash prizes were awarded to the top three winners, while all participants were presented with T-shirts, medals, and certificates as tokens of appreciation.
The event concluded successfully with the national anthem, leaving a strong message of environmental awareness, community health, and unity.
