INDUSTRIAL VISIT – BHEL Beyond the Classroom, Into the Corporate World
About This Event
The Industrial Visit to BHEL, Trichy, organized by the Departments of Commerce (CA) & BBA, Physics, and School of Computing, JKKN College of Arts & Science (Autonomous), was successfully conducted from 19.08.2026 to 22.08.2026. A total of 200 students participated in the visit, which was organized in four batches over four consecutive days.
The visit provided students with valuable practical exposure to a large-scale industrial environment and enabled them to understand industrial operations, production processes, technological applications, organizational practices, safety procedures, and workplace responsibilities.
The learners were able to relate their theoretical classroom knowledge with real-world industrial applications and gain awareness of technology-driven operations, innovation, automation, quality control, and industrial practices. The visit also enhanced their observation, analytical thinking, communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and professional skills.
Faculty coordinators and designated officials guided the students throughout the programme and ensured smooth coordination and effective participation. Overall, the industrial visit served as a meaningful experiential learning opportunity and motivated the students towards industry-oriented learning and future career opportunities.
