About This Event

The School of Computing, J.K.K. Nataraja College of Arts & Science (Autonomous) successfully organized Alumni Insight 2026 – “Pathways from Campus to Career” on 30 September 2026 from 09:45 AM to 01:00 PM at the Pharmacy Hall (1st Floor), Engineering Block, with the participation of 99 students. The programme was organized to provide students with an opportunity to interact with distinguished alumni and gain practical insights into academic experiences, professional journeys, career opportunities, and workplace expectations. The programme featured Mr. Bharathraj. S, Social Media Influencer and alumnus of the Computer Science Department; Mr. Sri Bala Vignesh. G, Educator and Abacus & Hindi Trainer and alumnus of the AI & Data Science and Cyber Security Department; and Ms. J. Santhika, Process Consultant and alumna of the BCA Department.

The programme commenced with the reception of the alumni, followed by the prayer song, welcome address, lighting of the lamp, and honouring of the guests. The alumni shared their professional experiences, career journeys, challenges, and valuable guidance with the students. Interactive sessions were conducted, allowing students to clarify their doubts and gain practical guidance. The programme helped students understand different career pathways, workplace expectations, professional opportunities, and the importance of skill development and career planning. It also strengthened the relationship between the alumni, students, and the institution by creating a platform for continued interaction and knowledge sharing.

The Alumni Insight 2026 programme was successfully completed with active student participation and meaningful interaction with the alumni. The event provided valuable real-world exposure, career motivation, and professional guidance to the students. It effectively connected academic learning with real-world professional experiences and served as a meaningful platform for students to gain confidence and awareness about their future career pathways.
