A Hands-on Training for Building Financial Mastery Through Security Markets

The Department of Commerce (CA) & BBA successfully conducted a Hands-on Training on Building Financial Mastery through Security Markets on 14 August 2026 at CS Laboratory I, First Floor, with the participation of 60 learners. The programme featured expert sessions by Dr. K. Prabhakaran, Director, Edify EdTech, Coimbatore and SEBI Securities Market Trainer (SMARTs), and Mr. M. Sasikumar, Branch Manager, Nippon India Mutual Fund, Erode.

The training provided learners with practical exposure to security markets, investment avenues, mutual funds, financial instruments, and financial decision-making. The expert-led sessions helped learners connect classroom concepts with real-world financial practices and gain valuable industry-oriented insights.

Learners actively participated in the technical sessions, practical activities, and interactions with the resource persons, enhancing their financial literacy, analytical thinking, decision-making skills, industry awareness, and career readiness. The programme successfully bridged the gap between theoretical learning and practical application and contributed to the development of practical, professional, and industry-ready competencies among the participating learners.
