Currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the PG and Research Department of Chemistry at J.K.K. Nataraja College of Arts & Science. With over six years of teaching experience and more than six years of dedicated research experience, established in the field of nanomaterials and energy storage applications. Completed undergraduate studies in Chemistry at Erode Arts College, followed by a postgraduate degree from Bharathiar University. Earned Ph.D. with a focus on materials science from Jeju National University. Research primarily focuses on the development of organic and inorganic nanostructured thin films for multifunctional and energy storage applications. Significant research contributions in supercapacitors, with numerous publications in reputed Scopus-indexed journals. Work emphasizes sustainable materials, including biomass-derived activated carbon and nanocomposite electrodes. Successfully guided Ph.D. scholars and actively supervising ongoing research in advanced energy storage systems. Recipient of several prestigious awards and fellowships, including postdoctoral fellowships, the DST-INSPIRE Faculty Fellowship, and recognitions such as the Best Young Researcher Award.
