Dr. A. Aravinth Raja is an accomplished academician and researcher currently serving as Assistant Professor of English at J.K.K. Nataraja College of Arts and Science (Autonomous). With over five years of teaching experience and more than seven years of research engagement, he has established himself as a dynamic scholar in the fields of English Studies and Linguistics. He holds dual Master degrees in English and Linguistics, a PGDTE from EFLU Hyderabad, and a Ph.D., and has qualified UGC-NET (English and Linguistics), TNSET, and UGC-JRF. His research is interdisciplinary, situated at the intersection of Applied Linguistics, ESL pedagogy, Cognitive Language Studies, and Cultural Studies, with a growing emphasis on AI-mediated language learning. His scholarly contributions include 16 research publications, a book on Salman Rushdie, and presentations at 23 national and international conferences. He has also delivered over 20 invited talks and keynote addresses. Dr. Aravinth Raja teaching philosophy integrates technology, cultural sensitivity, and innovative pedagogical practices, particularly in multilingual and ESL contexts aligned with NEP 2020. He has held several administrative and leadership roles, including President of the Institution Innovation Council and member of IQAC. A recipient of multiple recognitions, including Best Paper Award and NPTEL Topper distinctions.
