YUVA club of J. K.K. Nataraja College of Arts & Science, Komarapalayam conducted an awareness program for Girls on 11th October 2023 at 2.00 PM. This program serves as a platform to raise awareness about the importance of Girl Child Day. The event commenced in the presence of Dr. Geetha, Principal-in-charge. Ms. Mownika, II B.sc Computer science, extended warm welcome to all the participants. Mrs. Janaki Subramani, Founder of Elanjie Trust Erode, is the resource person who led this program. Her talk on Girl Child Day Awareness Program was a resounding success, generating substantial awareness and support for girls’ empowerment. It served as a reminder that gender equality is not just a goal but a necessity for the progress of our community. We look forward to future initiatives that further promote the rights and well-being of girls. Ms. Swetha , II B.Sc computer science extended heartfelt gratitude to student participants and the staff members. It was an interactive session too and around 130 students got benefit of the program. Feedback report was collected from student participants to evaluate the overall success of the event and insights for future improvements. The program came to an end with National Anthem.
